Over the past year the SCC has been busy with many things. We hosted a BBQ and debuted our new fitness room.  Because of a donation from Penn West, we were able to provide the school with an AED; this led us to provide all school staff with the opportunity to take first aid training.  Last year we hosted a boys-only activity and a girls-only sleep over.  We are planning on doing that again during this school year. The SCC provides turkey dinner every December, and helps wrap Christmas gifts for the West Central Crisis Centre's Santa's Hut. 

 We have and plan to continue to provide great presenters, such as Safire, to our students. This past year the SCC had new picture frames made and reorganized the grad photos.  For several years now, our Safe School Committee has organized the Day of Pink as well as happiness month.   Last spring three of our SCC members attended the National Congress on Rural Education in Canada Conference. 

     Our SCC is continually looking for new ideas, insight and energy.  Please feel free to come and sit in on our meetings.  There are some positions still open if you would like to join.  Our meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month.
